Earned a perfect score on the SAT and attended Columbia University in the City of New York for her undergraduate studies. In 2008, she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in political science and a pre-medical concentration. Subsequently, she earned a graduate degree in women's and gender studies.
Nara has worked for various academic institutions–including tutoring centers, elementary schools, and community colleges throughout the New York City Metropolitan area–teaching elementary school students as well as high school and university students.
